Guam Grocery Shopping Tips
- Expect to make more than one stop to complete your list, especially if you’re hunting for niche items or specific branded items.
- Bring your own bag. Some stores charge for bags or don’t offer them at all.
- Watch for restock days. Some stores get regular air shipments weekly, so follow them on social media or check their store postings to get the best haul.
- Look out for hot food. Ready-made bentos, Korean banchan, or lunch plates are perfect when you’re short on time.
- Prices can vary a lot. Guam’s import fees are wild, so shop around and soon you’ll know which store to get your usuals at the best price.
Guam’s grocery scene is a mix of big-name convenience and mom-and-pop charm. Once you get the hang of where to get your staples, you’ll know exactly where to hit up when it comes time for grocery shopping day.
