Get ready for one of Guam’s biggest annual celebrations—the 17th Annual Malesso’ Gupot CHamoru/Crab Festival! Taking place at the Malesso' Veteran Sons & Daughters Pier Park, this lively event runs from Friday, March 28, through Sunday, March 30, 2025. Enjoy the festivities from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday and from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.

This festival is a true celebration of southern hospitality, where you’ll find mouthwatering barbecue, delicious Chamorro dishes, live music, and cultural performances. Browse local vendors selling unique Guam gifts and handcrafted items, and let the kids have a blast with carnival games and friendly competitions.
But the real stars of the show? The land crabs! Watch or take part in exciting crab culinary competitions, and test your skills in fun island-style contests like the iconic Crab Catching Contest, Coconut Husking and Grating, Talaya (Fishing Net) Throwing, Tuba Drinking, Sack Races, and Coconut Relays.
Quick Tip: If you want to try your hand at catching crabs make sure you pick the crab up from its back to avoid...a painful encounter.
