If your drink order has become increasingly green over the past year, you're not alone.

From cozy cafés perfect for slow mornings to trendy spots crafting creative matcha drinks and desserts, Guam offers no shortage of ways to get your fix. Some keep it traditional, while others mix things up with unexpected flavors, but each spot brings something a little different to the table.

Whether you like to keep it classic or try every new matcha creation that hits the menu, these are some of the Guam spots currently fueling our matcha era.

Big things are also on the horizon. Matchakase's last day at its Dear Tree location is August 29 before it moves into a larger space at Oka Plaza. The new location will make room for matcha tastings, workshops, private events, omakase experiences, and other community-focused events, offering even more opportunities for customers to experience Japanese tea culture beyond the cup.

Drinks like the Wicked Witch Violet are inspired by literary characters, with the café creating its own spin on the story by giving the unnamed witch from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz the name Zara. Whether you're stopping in for a drink, browsing the bookshelves, or soaking in the whimsical atmosphere, Allegory offers a matcha experience that's uniquely its own.
