This year's theme, "10 Years, 1 Ocean: Our Islands, Our Future," honors a decade of collaboration and conservation in the region. We will reflect on the incredible strides we’ve made together to protect Micronesia’s island ecosystems, and more importantly, look ahead to the progress we aim to achieve in the next 10 years, uniting our islands around the shared responsibility of ocean conservation.

 

The evening will feature:

- A retrospective Showcase of MCC’s 10-year Impact (2015-2025)
- A peek into the Future of Conservation for our islands
- The Tide Changer Awards, recognizing islanders who have made significant contributions to conservation
- Entertainment, food, live music, dancing, and more, as we celebrate the unity of our islands in protecting the ocean we all share.

 

Proceeds fund research into our local reefs and fishes, provide education for students and the community, and advise businesses and military on how to safely proceed with planned projects to preserve both our land and ocean resources.

 

Food: Specially curated for the Ocean Gala by Hyatt Chef's. Vegetarian option available. Sneak peaks to come!

Dress: Formal - "Ocean" or "Island" themed formal encouraged!
