The Beach Bar

Situated at Gun Beach, this wooden beach bar is the best place to catch the sunset while enjoying live music that blends perfectly with the orchestra of the crashing sound of the waves and early evening breeze. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. enjoy $3 select domestic beers, $2 off wines, and $1 off mixed cocktails. This is place for locals and tourists to meet.

Mermaid Tavern & Grille

This is Guam’s only brewpub restaurant that serves daily specials and locally brewed beers including Dutse Passion Fruit Wheat, Sirena Pale Ale, Man’hita India Pale Ale and Met’got Cascadia, and Dos Amantes Irish Red Ale among others. Mermaid Tavern also serves Mediterrenean dishes and great salads. Enjoy live performers every day and have a chat with the friendly staff.

Wild Bills II

This dive bar is mostly popular with business folks, lawyers, bikers and others who seek a mellow after-work drink and catching-up with friends. Music from the jukebox is usually “acceptable,” meaning, not intrusive and with a volume level that allows conversations. Activities include pool, darts and game machines, including golf.

Hard Rock Café Guam

For those who want loud music and fun ambience, this rock n’ roll-themed restaurant is a piece of the American experience. Hard Rock Café Guam features a full bar and serves traditional American fare including burgers, salads, barbeque and sandwiches.

Tower of London Pub

This is a British-themed pub known for having the best beer selection on Guam. It serves a wide variety of local and imported beers such as San Miguel, Guinness, Peroni — or just name your beer, chances are, they have it. Tower of London appeals mostly to the young crowd, locals and military personnel. The pub is also famous for its shuffleboard. A pool table, electronic dart board, wireless Internet and a jukebox are among other attractions.

Chili’s Bar & Grill

Located in the premises of the Guam Premier Outlet, Chili’s Bar & Grill is a convenient place to rest for a cold drink after hours of shopping or browsing at the mall. Chili’s, which is known for its traditional American menu including burgers, ribs and salads, has a full bar and televisions usually tuned into ESPN.

The Grille at Santa Fe

Whether you sit in the bar or in the porch area, you will enjoy the sight of clear blue water and white sand beaches of the beckoning Agana Bay. The Grill serves Asian and American dishes. You can have a friendly chat with the multilingual staff or simply listen to live music from local artists.

The Point/Atrio

Those who prefer a classy or romantic ambience will enjoy these lounges both located in the Sheraton Laguna Resort. The Point overlooks the infinity pool, lagoon and ocean giving a perfect setting to unwind with a selection of fine wine or cocktails. The Atrio bar and lounge is a trendy, yet sophisticated gathering place for guests as well as locals. It features indoor and outdoor seating, a billiard table, live entertainment two days a week. Choose from a vast selection of wines and cocktails from the bar, and an á la carte menu.

Jeff’s Pirates Cove

This restaurant-bar is usually the place to stop and chill while taking a break from a tour of the south. Popular with tourists and “haoles,” Jeff’s Pirates offers a casual and cool — literally and figuratively — atmosphere whether you pick indoor and outdoor seating. Jeff’s kitchen boasts of the “island’s best burgers.”

Horse and Cow

Located on Marine Corps Drive, Horse and Cow offers really cheap beers and tasty food (yummy chicken wings) during happy hour. The bar has a large space with pool tables. It caters to a mixed crowd, which includes locals, tourists, “skimmers, jarheads, flyboys, ground pounders, and even puddle jumpers.” It is known for being an “off the hook” bar for submariners but “everyone is welcome to pull up a chair and join the fun.”
