Casa Bonita

Casa Bonita, located in Chamorro Village next to ASU Smokehouse, is bringing some new flavors to Guam — Mexican mixed with El Salvadoran! On the menu you will find enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, and of course their most popular items, tamales and burritos. The owners of this new joint use fresh, local produce whenever they can, even picking some from their own garden. Now that’s what we like to see (or better yet, taste). Try it out yourself by paying them a visit Monday thru Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday’s. Contact Casa Bonita at (671) 488-8279, casabonitaguam@gmail.com or follow @casabonitaguam on Instagram.

The Spot

When passing through Barrigada, be sure to stop by The Spot, located next to the Guam Readiness Center across from the post office. “Fresh, simple, and food that everyone can relate to and enjoy” is how owner Tony Campos describes it. Offering hamburgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, The Spot will make your taste buds happy no matter what you choose. Don’t forget to order the crisscut fries, a must have! What’s different about this food truck? They treat you like family. They actually prefer if you tell them exactly what you want, customizing your order and requesting add-ons. Feedback is welcome, especially recommendations on what to add to the menu. Keep an eye out for what’s new; a breakfast menu might be coming soon! Although The Spot is typically open Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., be sure to check their Facebook page (The SPOT) for the latest updates or call (671) 929-4425.
