The laid back cliental will sooner jump in as back up dancers than judge your rendition of Nancy Sinatra. At the bottom of Happy Landing Road, next to the Grand Plaza Min’s menu also features food from Wagaya 88 on the corner. Join like-minded hikers on treks across Guam ranging from easy to challenging. The Guam Boonie Stompers journey to the island’s most beautiful waterfalls, mountains, historical sites, and beaches. See the Boonie Stomp calendar in our Events section. Chamorro Village is a must-do on Guam. The outdoor mall is open every day but the main event happens every Wednesday night from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. when tourists and locals gathers for the outdoor market and a multitude of cultural events. The markets are a great way to find inexpensive souvenirs and gifts for everyone on your list. The aroma of fresh local foods can be tempting, so be sure to bring your appetite. Vendors offer great food for even better prices, from $1 for a chicken or pork BBQ stick, $2 for banana lumpia (banana eggrolls drizzled in honey), and if you’re still hungry, plates of food vary from $5-9. If you want dinner and a show, head to the north side of the complex where there are cultural dances reminiscent of Hawaiian Lulus. Bring cash, as with most markets, stalls only except cash, however, most of the permanent stores do accept credit cards.

Located at the beach on Naval Base Guam, this massive wall of coral seems to go on forever and is jam packed with fish and other reef life. A night dive here is a great place to spot colorful crabs and different varieties of shrimp. Keep your eyes out for turtles as this wildlife preserve is one of their favorite hangouts.
